University Suite 2014 ¾ Submission of Synopsis The “Online Submission of Title and Synopsis” module of KUHS*Suite is an Open Source automated file flow system for the Kerala University of Health Sciences. All the process connected in submission is handled through online such as student submission, guide verification and approval, Principal verification and approval also reviewer’s scrutiny and registrar approval. The proposed system also reduces the paperwork to a great extent and it is also easy to check back on any issue, if any should arise through the system itself. Actually this work flow makes an interface between university, Principal, guides and students of all affiliated colleges. From the faculty’s points of view, it helps them through online submission by students which lessen their burden. The system will facilitate communication between students of KUHS, faculties; principal of their colleges, reviewers and officers of KUHS. The university provides unique id’s for each KUHS*Suite users. ¾ Eligibility Certificate The module entitled “Eligibility Certificate” of the project “university Suite” is mainly deal with Eligibility Certificate of KUHS, by providing a new system for the Online Submission of the application for eligibility certificate. It will provide certificate online .The new system can be utilized to store the details permanently. The present “Eligibility Certificate” system is manual. It leads to heavy work load and time waste, it increases the clerical effort. It required storing the files manually. And this process causes increase of paper use also. This becomes a main disadvantage of present manual system of the office procedure in the KUHS. The proposed system is to convert manual system into computerized system. It reduces time, clerical effort and storage space it will automatically generate the Certificate. So student will get certificate immediately as possible. Page 11
